Girls in a RAWA school in a remote village in western Afghanistan. Previously there was no girl's school in this village. Many girls from nearby villages attend the school. There are still some parents who do not want their daughters to go to school, but RAWA's efforts have made a big difference and number of such families is limited now.
For security reasons the exact location of RAWA schools inside Afghanistan are not mentioned.
