New prayer order by Taliban

The leader of the Taliban movement in Afghanistan Mohammad Omar has ordered that prayers must be recited more accurately, and said that people will be tested by the Taliban religious police.

Every village has been told to appoint two prayer inspectors.

Afghan radio will broadcast special programmes to help the accurate learning of prayers, which are delivered in Koranic Arabic and not in the national languages of Persian and Pashtu.
